Food Director and Stylist
As Food Art International’s primary director Niki is finely seasoned in the culinary arts. A Grand Diploma in Cordon Bleu cookery at the renowned Silwood Kitchens in Cape Town, kick started her career. Ten years as a chef in fine dining restaurants in South Africa and Internationally culminated in her family owned beloved country house hotel, Auberge Aurora, overlooking the Cradle of Mankind – from where she started food styling in the 1990’s.
Niki has worked on all the major brands, on International TV commercials largely out of Cape Town, and then into Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Ivory Coast also to name a few. African food as a cultural doorway, is of particular interest and passion as Niki Believes it holds a vital key to the future peace and prosperity of Africa.
In 2014, as a trend leader, Niki established Food Art International in order to serve her client’s needs better. As trends and technology have developed, it has become imminently more possible to service all clients regardless of their location. Thus, on the experience and relationships Niki has built, Food Art International was born.
Angeline Bheghede
Angeline is the bedrock of daily productions, ensuring our well-oiled systems work to perfection – everything we need is where it needs to be and ‘ready to roll’. Set ups of gear and equipment are executed and post production is carried out. Her passion for food and production is a delight.
A quiet, strong behind the scenes dedication is her forte.
